pub enum IsotopeTransmissionMode {
None,
PrecursorScaling,
PerFragment,
}Expand description
Mode for quad-selection dependent isotope transmission calculation.
Variants§
None
Disabled - no transmission-dependent calculation
PrecursorScaling
Precursor-based scaling - calculate transmission factor from precursor isotope distribution and apply uniform scaling to all fragment intensities. This is computationally efficient and captures the main intensity reduction effect.
PerFragment
Per-fragment calculation - calculate transmission-dependent isotope distribution for each individual fragment ion based on its complementary fragment. This is more accurate but computationally expensive. Implements the algorithm from OpenMS’s CoarseIsotopePatternGenerator.
