Where the per-analyte occurrence/abundance distributions come from when constructing the builder entities (P4 canonical-state contract).
Columns parses them from the legacy JSON columns (the default — byte
behaviour unchanged). Projector computes them at load time from the scalar
trunk entities, so the columns become unnecessary (the P4 goal). Both paths
produce identical-shape PeptidesSim/IonSim, so every downstream consumer
(maps, transmission, DDA, fragment-intensity) is untouched.
